First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been betting on the web or at physical betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are flat broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your belly and the more you try the quicker you are deprived.

When you notice that you are up, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this plan RARELY ever operates. Say you’re betting on slot games, have an amount put aside prior to starting your play. DO NOT go over that limit, no matter how appealing. If you actually win, put that in a separate cup. Don’t spend your wins no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your original set limit, bail out. Head out, whether it’s on the net or at a land based betting house, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not manage the cost, do not even start.
